Unless huge surprise, Thomas Tuchel should sit on PSG bench after Unai Emery’s departure. Will the German, true supporter of Guardiola’s method and reputed intractable, be able to manage the players of the Parisian club and its stars? Peter Zeidler, the Sochaux coach who knows Tuchel for passing his coaching credentials with him, sees no reason for it not to work. The German coach would even take intensive courses in French and Spanish so that his message is clear and understood by everyone.
Le Parisien reveals that Thomas Tuchel intends to strengthen PSG with players from the Bundesliga, a championship he knows perfectly well. He would target a left-back, a central defender and two midfielder: Philipp Max (Ausburg), Omer Toprak (Borussia Dortmund), Julian Weigl (Borussia Dortmund) and Max Meyer (Schalke 04). The latter is also free to leave this summer, a bargain if the PSG tries to enrol him.
