Cavani and the valse of European strikers

While rumours about the upcoming summer transfers are going well, Edison Cavani’s situation is still unresolved. A meeting was to take place between the Uruguayan representatives and the Parisian leaders before the last game of the Ligue 1 season. The Parisian striker has not yet been guaranteed to stay next season.

Today, European sports dailies announce in their respective countries news more or less wacky about the future of the strikers of their clubs and PSG. Thus, in Spain, AS expresses a concrete interest of the French capital for Cristiano Ronaldo and even speaks about miraculous figures as a salary of 45 millions euros per year. In Italy, Tuttosport announces that Gonzalo Higuain is close to PSG. Finally, in Germany, SportBild evokes the situation of Lewandowski, who has clearly stated his intention to leave FC Bayern. So, of course, not everyone will come to PSG ^^ especially since a major decision of UEFA is expected regarding the Financial Fair Play.

Nevertheless, the information coming from Germany is interesting and can be credible. Although declared unsellable by Bayern, the Polish has retained the services of Pini Zahavi, who facilitated Neymar’s move from Barça to PSG last summer. The German newspaper says Zahavi wants to help Bayern bosses find a replacement for him, his plan: a top club offers Bayern millions of euros, but also a striker in exchange. Zahavi reportedly spoke with three clubs about Lewandowski, including PSG. The Polish striker has an estimated value of 90 million euros, Cavani 60.

Such an exchange may well take place in light of the situation of both players and especially since Antero Henrique, PSG Sports Director wants to sell the Paris’ striker.
